About Klitschko
Vitali Klitschko (born 19 July 1971) and Wladimir Klitschko (born 25 March 1976), collectively known as the Klitschko brothers are Ukrainian heavyweight boxers. During their peak years from 2004 until 2015, the Klitschko brothers were considered the most dominant heavyweight champions of their era, and amongst the most successful champions in boxing history. After the retirement of boxing legend Lennox Lewis, the Klitschko brothers held all heavyweight boxing world titles. Known for their exceptionally large frames and robotic boxing styles, the Klitschko brothers developed a style that utilized their athleticism and using their reach to break down opponents.
The older brother, Vitali Klitschko, retired from boxing in 2013 and became a politician in his native Ukraine. Upon his retirement, Vitaly relinquished the WBC world heavyweight title. Wladimir Klitschko continued to successfully defend the WBA, IBF, WBO, The Ring and Lineal titles until he was defeated by Tyson Fury in 2015.
Both Klitschko’s hold PhDs in Sports Science and speak multiple languages.

Joshua got off the floor to stop Klitschko in a heavyweight epic at Wembley Stadium in April and is waiting to hear if the 41-year-old former world champion fancies another crack.

Eddie Hearn has lined up Kubrat Pulev as an alternative next opponent for Joshua but told Sky Sports this month the rematch “is happening unless we are told otherwise.”

“I really think it’s 50-50. Every time I talk to him it’s almost like he’s torn both ways. We’ll naturally support him either way he decides. If he decides to take the rematch that’s one the fans will look forward to”
